WORCESTER BLUE Lightwood Cheese, Worcestershire, England
Cow’s Milk – Unpasteurised A delightful blue produced only two miles from The Crown in small batches, this unpasteurised Cheese is a cross between a traditional stilton and a continental soft blue.

FINN - Neal’s Yard Creamery, Herefordshire, England
Cow’s Milk. Finn is made with pasteurised milk and the addition of double cream to give a rich luxurious texture. Surprisingly firm and lactic when young, it takes on a nutty and woodland aromas as it matures with a smooth, creamy breakdown beneath the rind.

BLANCHE - Cheese Cellar Dairy, Worcestershire, England
Goats Milk. At two weeks old, its perfumed aroma of dark forest honey, honeysuckle, herbs and a peppery tingle. [Awarded Gold in Best Goat Cheese 2018 British Cheese Awards and Silver for Best Soft Cheese 2017. As well as three Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2017]

MRS BELL’S BLUE - Shepherds Purse, Yorkshire, England
Ewes Milk. Meadow-like sweetness of ewe’s milk contrasts with the cheese’s inherent saltiness, also a sweet caramel flavour enveloping the sharp tang of the blue mould, milder than Roquefort but still punchy. [Awarded Silver and Gold at the 2018 British Cheese Awards and Gold at the 2017 World Cheese Awards]

QUICKE’S VINTAGE CHEDDAR - Newton St Cyres, Devon, England
Cows Milk. Mary Quicke and family have farmed for 500 years (the estate was given to them by Henry VIII). The “Vintage” Clothbound cheddar is one of the longest aged cheeses of its kind in the world. Handmade with milk from the farm’s own herd of cows, matured for 24 months in a temperature and humidity-controlled room until it achieves its crumbly texture, rich, creamy and savoury flavour, it has incredible length on the palate. [Awarded Silver at the 2019 British Cheese Awards.]

BARON BIGOD - Fen Farm Dairy, Suffolk, England
Cow’s Milk – Unpasteurised. Jonny Crickmore and his wife Dulcie produce this stunning cheese with their herd of Montbéliard cows; the result is a Brie de Meaux-style cheese called Baron Bigod named after a local 12th century nobleman. [Awarded Silver at the 2019 and 2018 British Cheese Awards.]

STINKING BISHOP BABY - Charles Martell & Son, Gloucestershire, England
Washed Cow’s Milk. A full-fat soft cheese, not as powerful as its pungent smell may suggest. Washed in perry (pear cider) the sticky orange rind has a strong, aroma, but the supple interior is surprisingly sweet and mild. [Awarded Silver at the British Cheese Awards 2018.]
