At The Crown, our kitchen philosophy is rooted in honest cooking, seasonal produce and food that brings people together, a commitment recognised with 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence.

We believe great food starts with great ingredients. Our menus champion locally sourced produce wherever possible, working closely with trusted farmers, fishermen and suppliers to ensure quality, freshness and sustainability sit at the heart of everything we do.

Seafood plays an important role in our kitchen, with market fish featured regularly to showcase the best of what’s available. This allows our chefs to work with the freshest catches, adapting dishes to reflect seasonality and provenance, and offering something a little different with each visit.

Our meat is sourced with the same care and attention. We proudly work with Knightwick Butchers, just up the road from us, supplying high quality beef that forms the backbone of many of our dishes. This close, local relationship ensures exceptional standards, traceability and flavour on every plate.
